A full professional setup to make your guitar play and sound its best.
A full professional set up is the single best thing you can do for any guitar. Whether it has just come out of the case for the first time or has been played hard for years, I check every part of the instrument and adjust it to suit the way you play, so it feels comfortable, stays in tune and sounds the way it should. Each set up is carried out by hand in my Lancashire workshop.
What's involved
- Truss rod and neck relief checked and adjusted
- Action and string height set to your playing style
- Intonation set across the whole fingerboard
- Nut slots checked, cleaned and lubricated
- Frets, fingerboard and hardware cleaned and conditioned
- Pickup heights balanced
- Strings changed on request
